Solio - Samburu - Nakuru : Day 1

Our adventure begins in the heart of the Solio Reserve!

Day 1: The long awaited moment has arrived, our safari begins! We open the windows and the roof of the car, ready to plunge into the wild immensity of Solio.

The rhino encounters come thick and fast. Rhinos on the right. On the left, more rhinos. And opposite? Rhinos, of course! Wherever you look, these majestic giants are everywhere.

But you have to keep your eyes open: you have to be able to tell the white rhino from the black rhino! Every moment was a wonder, especially when we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of mothers with their calves.

This first safari also offered us encounters with mischievous vervet monkeys, graceful oryx, zebras, etc., all set in magnificent landscapes dominated by the yellow acacia trees that are Kenya's symbol.

After an afternoon of discovery and excitement, we returned to the comfort of our lodge to enjoy a delicious, well-deserved meal before retiring for the night, ready for the next stage of our adventure.
