Samburu is a treasure trove of biodiversity, and on our third day, we were fortunate enough to spot the fascinating bat-eared foxes. These nocturnal predators are usually active at night, making their daytime appearance all the more exceptional. Their ability to blend into the tall grasses is truly impressive.
Thankfully, with David's incredible sharp eyesight, always on the lookout for any movement, we managed to spot them. It's not every day you get the chance to see such elusive creatures! Without his expertise, they would likely have remained hidden.
